It’s hard to believe that someone did it. The Pokemon GO player collected a huge number of PokeCoins and did not spend a penny

Pokemon Go

One of the Pokemon GO players decided to collect a certain amount of PokeCoins. This number is impressive.

PokeCoins is the premium currency in Pokemon GO. It is true that coins can be purchased for real money, but the title does not require players to spend anything, because items in the store can be earned in the game itself – by taking over Gyms and having Pokemon in them for a specified period of time.

Each player can get 50 PokeCoins per day if his Pokemon defend one of the gyms long enough. Maybe 50 does not sound like a fortune, but after time and patience, you can gather a lot this way.

One of the players showed that his patience and willpower have no limits as he has accumulated an unimaginable number of PokeCoins. How many exactly does he have?

Crazy number of PokeCoins

When can you say you have a lot of PokeCoins? For some it will be 500, for others 2000. Trainers hardly put aside large amounts of premium currency, because they prefer to spend it on items, backpack space, Raid Passes, or cosmetic accessories for their character (and there are a lot of them).

One of the players decided to not spend the PokeCoins obtained for free. Initially, he collected them because he was waiting for a promotion for an extra backpack slot, but over time, he decided that he would just keep them until he had a good sum.

In the end, he managed to exceed 10,000, so he boasted about it on the Internet.

Weird milestone, but I made it to 5 figures as a F2P player. Storage/bag space went on sale years ago so I started saving up just in case it happened again. After getting a few thousand coins I set this as a random goal.

I currently have 9,639 hours defending Gyms.

Players quickly calculated that collecting such an amount takes a minimum of 200 days to earn 50 free PokeCoins every day. It is really a lot of time and conscientious taking over gyms.

Many players probably would not have given the times and would not have survived that long without spending premium currency.
