Festival of Lights in Pokemon GO. Event announcement – what is worth knowing?
The developers have announced another event that will be released in a few days.
Currently, an event is taking place in Pokemon GO related to the Mexican celebration of the afterlife and family ties (see: The Día de Muertos event in Pokemon GO is starting today. Everything you need to know).
It turns out that in a few days another event will start, and with it, a completely new creature will appear in the game. Of course, the debut of Pokemon is not the only attraction that players will get. The creators have prepared much more interesting things.
Festival of Lights in Pokemon GO
The event will start on Friday, November 5, and will last until Sunday, November 14, 2021.
Z tej okazji do gry trafią następujące atrakcje:
- Friendship level with another player will increase twice as fast.
- Gifts from friends will give you more rewards.
- Each player will be able to open up to 45 gifts per day.
- A fireworks display will appear in the in-game sky. You will be able to admire them during the first few days of the event.
- A new creature will debut in the game – Dedenne. It is an electric and fairy Pokemon and was introduced in Generation VI.
- The following Pokemon will spawn in the wild: Pikachu, Magnemite, Slugma, Whismur, Electrike, Blitzle, Cottonee, Tynamo, Fennekin, and Dedenne. Anyone who is lucky will find Darumaka and Litwick.
- Thematic Field Research will appear, from which you will be able to get the following creatures: Vulpix, Magnemite, Electabuzz, Magmar, Electrike, Blitzle, Darumaka, Litleo, and Dedenne.
- During the event, you will be able to get Dedenne-themed stickers. Stickers can be bought in the store, and randomly drawn from spinning PokeStops and Gyms.

- The following Pokemon will hatch from the 7-kilometer eggs: Alolan Geodude, Chinchou, Pichu, Vulpix, Magby, Elekid, and Budew.
- The following opponents will be available during the raids:
- 1-star raids: Charmander, Vulpix, Chinchou, Litwick and Dedenne,
- 3 -star raids Alolan Raichu, Electabuzz, Magmar, Bellossom,
- 5 -star raids Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion,
- Mega Raid: Mega Manectric.
- New cosmetic items will appear in the store, including a free t-shirt with the theme of the event. Players will be able to unlock Dedenne-related items.
