Minecraft is one of the games that people like to speedrun a lot. Players have a lot of categories at their disposal in which they can compete. One of them is to get all the achievements as quickly as possible, and one of the most difficult is without a doubt the Uneasy Alliance achievement, which involves bringing a Ghast to the Overworld and then killing him.
The task may be monotonous, but speedrunners have their own tactics. In most cases, a fishing rod is used to attract a mob through the portal. The task, however, is much more difficult than it might seem, and Ghast’s ability to disable the portal certainly doesn’t make it any easier.
One user accidentally discovered a way that can help speedrunners a lot. What does the clip he shared show?
An easier way to get the achievement
A user with the nickname yetabix420 shared a short clip showing him moving through the tunnel in the Nether. At the very end, once the player is in the portal, he fires a bow towards Ghast, and after moving to the Overworld, he received the achievement.
Although the player did not complete all the tasks listed in the achievement description, it was enough to get it. The game does not check if the mob being killed is on the same map, which allows you to get the achievement without having to carry the Ghast through the portal.
Still, the task is not as easy as it may seem. You have to be in tune with the time really well so that the arrow reaches the creature only when the player leaves the portal on the other side. Nevertheless, it is certainly a less frustrating solution for the part of the community that cares about getting all the achievements.
