Riot has shared with players the start date of the next ranked season.
Ranked matches are one of the most important elements of the game for LoL players. Many fans spend most of their time playing League of Legends on ranked games.
Right after the end of the season and the beginning of the preseason, players await the moment when the next stage of the struggle begins. Riot has announced a date on which the first rankeds will be available for the 2022 season.
When will the next season start?
An entry has appeared on the official League of Legends profile along with information about when the next ranked season in the game will start.
In just a few days, players will be able to enter Summoner’s Rift and start their Ranked climb in the next season. Fans have already got used to the new dragons that can be found on the most popular LoL map, and to new items that quickly gained popularity.
It is also worth mentioning that the first update of the 2022 season will appear on the live servers on January 5, and two days later, in addition to the beginning of the next stage of the ranked ladder, you will be able to watch the official stream, during which the developers will share their plans and news with fans. It will take place on the 7th of January at 1 PM PT.
Last year, the developers revealed information about what was introduced in the preseason, what improvements have been made to the game and ranked queue, showed what the champions will look like, which will be released in the coming months, or information about skins and events in the starting season.
