Ryan “Reav3” Mireles told players a bit about Nezumah, a new location on the Runeterra map. This place is directly related to Shurima, or more precisely – it is an oasis on the outskirts of the desert.
Nazumah is a city-state, an oasis located on the southern fringes of the desert. Unlike the rest of Shurima, they do not recognize Azir’s authority there. The citizens of Nazumah, who settled by the only source of water nearby, had to compete with giant monsters in order not to die of thirst.
It was a tough fight, but eventually they took over the oasis and built their community around it. Now, 500 years later, a new hero leads the Nazumah warriors to hunt the same monsters using the rare resources they use to build and craft weapons.
He even fought one of the largest monsters ever seen in the desert and created his unique ntofo out of his regenerating skin.

The Ntofo is a massive blunt weapon that can be used defensively. However, it can be crushed at any time to reveal carefully crafted blades that can split any opponent in an instant. Moments after that, the skin returns to its original form.
