This LoL character does not do well in any of the positions he is played. It is very bad

League of Legends

The results that Sylas of LoL is currently achieving are really disappointing.

Sylas is a hero who appeared on Summoner’s Rift on January 25, 2019. He won a lot of fans quite quickly, which translated into skins released for him. Today he boasts, among others, a prestige edition from the PROJECT series or the Ashen Slayer skin.

As for how the character is currently doing in the game, it is unfortunately not very good. It turns out that in practically every possible role he wins less than 50% of games. Such a state of affairs strongly worries his fans.

Sylas’ situation with League of Legends

Sylas is currently played mainly in three positions – jungle (57.9%), mid (37.6%), and top (2.9%). Unfortunately, he is not doing very well at any of them. According to the statistics website lolalytics.com, in the Platinum+ divisions, the champion does not exceed a 50% win ratio.

His win ratio in each role looks as follows:

  • jungle – 49,59%,
  • mid – 49,84%,
  • top – 48,91%.

The situation is no better on the support, where the hero appears from time to time (less than 2% of games). There he wins only 48.33% of games.

Compared to top midlaners or junglers, Sylas’ performance is really poor. Also by the stats, you can see that players prefer to bet on more proven champions, who are more useful for the team and in group fights.

Sylas’ poor win rate in the middle lane, however, is quite surprising. He has not received any major changes and relies on items that most AP mages use. The hero has good synergy with the team, which can be difficult to achieve in a solo turn.

Interestingly, when the champion gets into the right hands, it can be really strong and useful. This is evident from the LCK spring split, where he appeared 22 times in the middle lane and won as many as 64% of the games.
