There will be no Conqueror skin in LoL this year and the High Noon Talon has been removed from the Hextech Workshop
Riot will not release the Conqueror skin for MSI. Additionally, High Noon Talon will not be available in Hextech.
It turns out that Riot Games is giving up another tradition this year. This time around, it’s about not releasing a Conqueror skin, 25% of which goes to esports teams.
High Noon Talon will take its place. For this reason, he was removed from the Hextech Workshop and can no longer be drawn there. This means that it is only available through a purchase in the store.
High Noon Talon and Conqueror skin
There are two important events in League of Legends that take place every year during the Ranked season. The first is the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational. The second one is the World Cup. On this occasion, Riot Games has always released one skin to represent the tournaments. MSI was about the Conqueror series, and the Worlds – Championship.
Unfortunately, the community won’t see Conqueror this year. Riot Games decided not to create such a skin. It is to be replaced by High Noon Talon, and 25% of the profits from its sale will go to the hands of MSI players. This was reported in an official article on lolesports.com.
This means that according to the latest unique skin policy, it will not be available in the Hextech Workshop for the duration of the event. Therefore, players cannot get it from the crate and draw rolling 3 skins. This was confirmed by one of the Redditors.
Additionally, the latest team skins selected by the 2021 World Champions – EDG for Graves, Viego, Zoe, Aphelios, and Yuumi are also not available this way. This will only change in a year when the “grace period” is lifted. Therefore, fans of Talon and the heroes above need to buy RP, even if they have all the skins and were counting on the Hextech Workshop.
