The spaghetti code attacks LoL once again. This time it’s about one of Trundle’s skills
Another interesting bug in League of Legends.
Certainly, League of Legends is not a bug-free game. Riot tries to fix them, but with every bug fixed, more come out. While they usually don’t make a big difference to the game, they can sometimes mess it up.
This time it was one of the oldest heroes in the game. It turns out that Trundle’s Pillar is capable of… removing a wall.
A bugged pillar
There are many characters in LoL at this point that are able to walk, jump, or teleport through walls. This is the normal mechanic that players are probably used to by now. Now it turns out that the Trundle’s pillar can also cause the opponent to go into the wall. This was shown by one of the Reddit users with the nickname macksii.
As we can see, a well-placed obstacle that would have blocked Vel’Koz, leading to the blue team getting a frag, broke and allowed the supporter to pass through the wall. Because of this, the gank that could have had an impact on the outcome of the match failed.
What are the reasons for such bugs? All this is due to the complicated game code and outdated technology. Developers have been developing the game for over 10 years, often modifying various elements. So the code of the game is very tangled and such situations can occur.
