The League of Legends player has spent 650 Mythic Essence on skin shards. Was it worth it?

One LoL fan has decided to spend a huge amount of ME on skin shards. What did he get from them?

After Riot introduced a new currency – Mythic Essence – to the game, many players save it for Prestige skins or unique cosmetic content that is only available for a limited time (e.g. mythical chromas). This does not mean, however, that ME collected cannot be spent on skin shards like you used to do when Gemstones were in the game.

One of the players has decided to spend all of their accumulated Mythic Essence on skin shards. Was it worth it? Everything he received was captured on a short recording.

A big opening for Mythic Essence

Random skins from the Hextech Workshop will tempt players, as there is always a chance that a shard will drop something valuable, such as a Legendary skin. Of course, there is no guarantee that the account owner will like what is drawn.

For this reason, many people prefer to spend tokens or essences on specific skins (e.g. Prestige ones), because then you can be sure that you will get exactly what you chose.

One of the players, out of curiosity, checked which skins will be drawn after spending 650 ME. Was it worth it?

As you can see, many of the skins drawn are really worth a lot. However, it is difficult to assess whether the opening was profitable – it all depends on the taste of the account holder. The player did not inform which champions he is playing with, so it is impossible to judge whether the skins drawn will be useful to him.

With this type of openings, it is worth remembering that the drops can be various – some will have the latest legendary skins, and those who are unlucky will probably have skins worth less than 1350 RP.

One of the players wrote:

I feel like I personally get more value because I like to play multiple different roles and I tend to enjoy getting mastery 7 on different champions so I value getting as many skins as possible as opposed to just one prestige version.

If you’re a one trick who really just likes to play a couple of champions then I can see it being worthwhile to get a prestige skin, but personally I find the normal versions with chromas to be great anyway.

As you can see, it all depends on what preferences the person has.
