Riot is working on Zeri nerfs in LoL, but players will have to wait a long time for them

League of Legends

Zeri’s anti-fans will be pretty happy about this information.

The Spark of Zaun appeared on the official League of Legends servers on January 20. Since then, she has aroused fear among players and is one of the most frequently banned characters.

Despite a few nerfs shortly after her release and subsequent fixes, Zeri is still doing way too well and the developers have announced her upcoming nerfs. These are to appear in update 12.6, which is at the end of this month.

Zeri will be nerfed

The unusual style of play of the newest ADC in LoL is not very appreciated by the community. The champion received a huge amount of criticism in the first few days on the servers. It turned out that her infinite speed of movement makes the heroine an incredibly difficult target to catch. As a result, the stacking of Runaan’s Hurricane has been removed, among other things.

That wasn’t enough, and altogether, since Zeri’s release in Update 12.2, Riot has changed her over the next two patches, and more of her nerfs are expected to appear in the next one as well. This was announced by the leader of the character creation team – Riot August.

Zeri the carry’s winrate is still scary We’re working on nerfs to make her more fair.

According to leagueofgraphs.com, Zeri now wins 51% of games with a ban rate of almost 57%.

Here are the assumptions of the changes adopted by August:

  • Lower overall damage and mobility
  • Shift damage out of base AD to decrease power with sheen
  • Shift armor scaling into health (makes her Passive shielding and HP purchases worse)

So what are the developers going to change to make the character actually better suited to the rest of the heroes? Baseline stats as well as Q, E, and R were targeted.

  • Bazowe Statystyki:
    • Base AD: 58 >>> 50
    • HP: 500 + 85/lvl >>> 480 + 90/lvl
    • Armor: 23 + 3.5/lvl >>> 20 + 3/lvl
  • Q:
    • Damage: 9-25 >>> 10-30
    • Charged rightclick & max health damage: 3-15% by level 18 >>> 1-10% by level 13
  • E:
    • CD: 23-19 >>> 23
    • Damage: 80-100% >>> 60-100%
  • R:
    • MS/stack: 2% >>> 1.5-2%
    • Stacks per champion hit with the AoE explosion: 3 >>> 4

Players will probably have to wait a little longer for the update. According to the announcement, it is to be released on official servers only in the next patch. This one will not appear regularly in two weeks, but only on March 30.
