Riot is changing the timing of early surrender and remake in LoL. It will be much better

League of Legends

LoL players will be able to enjoy earlier surrenders of matches in LoL.

Hostage-taking in League of Legends is something that players often practice. They don’t want to vote in early match surrender or negate it. Even if it’s known that the match can’t be won.

There are also problems with people deciding to leave a match or losing their internet connection. Now Riot has decided to fix this and you will no longer have to wait until the 10th minute.

Surrendering the game early

In the League, there are many factors that cause stress to the player, and this stress, as is well known, contributes to toxicity. One of them is the unsuccessful attempt to surrender the game, even if no one wants to play, and one person has already left the game some time ago.

Until now, you had to wait until the 10th minute and only then could you start voting. Now it will work a little differently, as Spideraxe announced on Twitter:

The developers have decided to reduce the time of early surrender from AFK from 10 minutes to 3:30. In addition, the remake itself will change. Normally, the voting would only start at 3 minutes. In patch 12.21 this has been moved to 1:30. In addition, the decision time has been increased from 30 seconds to 90.

Perhaps more of these smaller changes will lead to freeing League of Legends from toxicity. Since bans don’t work, it’s time for other methods of bringing order.
