Riot Games is preparing a movie about League of Legends? Developer hires new employees

There is a chance that the cinematic universe of League of Legends will expand. Riot is looking for new employees.

Fans of League of Legends have been asking Riot for many years for a movie related to their favorite game. The MOBA has great potential for this, as the creators have proven more than once in short animations. So it’s hardly surprising that players care so much about it.

A year ago, the world of series was shaken by the release of Arcane, a series from the League that featured only part of the world of Runeterra. Now there is a chance that this is not the end and other works will be created as well.

Signs of expanding the cinematic world

The world of Runeterra hides a multitude of secrets and amazing stories. Many of them concern the fate of the characters, and there are really quite a few of these in the League as well, and only some of them are in the Arcane series set in Piltover and Zaun. However, there is little information on other productions. At this point, the developers do not boast of successes and do not announce anything, but this does not mean that no one is working on it.

For some time now, developers have been recruiting for film positions like Global Head of Live Action Film and Global Head of Live Action TV:

This suggests that a full-length action film may be made. Perhaps telling the fate of the world in one of the seasons or concerning a story that has already taken place. Although at this point these are just predictions. However, looking at how quickly job offers are disappearing on Riot’s official website, one can assume that crew acquisition is going smoothly.
