Riot doesn’t care about the opinion of LoL players? “Why do they ask us about PBE if they are doing everything the other way around anyway”
The annoyance of players continues to grow. This time it’s about ignoring opinions.
Riot always asks players for feedback on previous updates on the test server. In the past, the creators took them seriously and tried to fix bugs or improve skins and other cosmetic additives.
However, for a while now, players have noticed that things are a bit different now, and they don’t see such commitment anymore. So the community wonders why developers are asking for their opinion.
The opinion of the players does not matter?
With each passing month, the complaints of players about the creators of League of Legends intensify. The community says Riot Games is currently focused on maximizing earnings, not the players, who matter most. This can be seen in the poorer quality of skins, increasing RP prices, passes, and other extras.
This time it was about not listening to opinions. For example, in patch 12.13, a bug appeared on the servers that was already known to PBE testers two weeks earlier and reported multiple times. Despite this, the developers did not fix it. You can read more about it in this article – CLICK. Now, however, it has turned out that the Prestige Edition for the Star Guardian Syndra has been changed in a different way than the players expected.
The splash art visible in the above graphic has been slightly improved. Its colors have been slightly modified and the necklace removed to match the in-game model. However, the players did not ask for it, just to recolor the model a little. Now, instead of fitting the model from the game to a great splash, it was decided to modify the portrait and it looks like this:
Similarly with Xayah and Rakan in the “good version”, players wanted to see the characters on the official LoL servers, and they ended up in Wild Rift. Additionally, the moderators on Reddit are removing non-tilting comments criticizing decisions made by developers. This led to a popular post showing that the creators don’t care about their opinion.
Riot’s reputation continues to deteriorate. The devs have a hard nut to crack and must start taking players seriously to fix it. At the moment, the community reminds them of every mistake, even the smallest one, that would have been forgiven a few years ago.
