LoL developers have asked players to suggest which characters should be revamped.
There are currently more than 160 heroes in League of Legends. The game has been on the market since 2009, so it’s not surprising that some of the skill sets are no longer as fresh and exciting.
Reworks come to the rescue here, both the full ones, which renew not only the set of skills, but also the model, voice lines, splash art, or lore, and the smaller ones, called minireworks. Everyone is sure to be very familiar with this form of refreshing champions, as it worked well for many heroes in 2022.
Riot is considering who it should renew next year. The community really has a lot of propositions.
Who will get a minirework in LoL?
Rioter Tim Truexy asked on Twitter who should receive a minirework in 2023, an update that will not be a full VGU, but will refresh the champion and in a sense give it a second life.

Players shared their thoughts in the comments. At first glance, it was clear that quite a few people cited Zyra as the ideal heroine for a minor update. According to her fans, the character should be better balanced in other positions besides support. In addition, players would like Zyra to better reflect the thorn witch theme. A suggestion was given that the mini-update revamp her skill set to make it less predictable, especially when it comes to her CC.
The second character that received a lot of attention in the comments is LeBlanc. Her fans stated that the character is incredibly outdated and relies on a lot of snowballing, she also doesn’t forgive mistakes, and if the game doesn’t go the player’s way, the player feels “more useless than minions.”
LeBlanc’s fans feel that this one has been getting little attention from Riot when it comes to refreshing her skill set. They would like to feel a breath of fresh air in her skills.

Mages in general have often been mentioned in the comments, and have been moved to support over the years. Fans of this type of character ask Riot to do something about this fact and refresh Bard, Vel’Koz, Xerath, or the aforementioned Zyra.
The suggestion of Morgana, who, according to her fans, has a rather poor passive and undifferentiated set of items, was also frequently mentioned. Not everyone likes the fact that Zhonya’s Hourglass is a “must-have” for this heroine.
In addition to the aforementioned suggestions, Fiora, Zilean, Fizz, Corki, and Anivia were also written about.
