Lil Nas X is joining Riot as head of League of Legends. He has a difficult mission ahead of him.

According to official information sent by Riot, the well-known rapper has become the head of League of Legends. In this role, he will initially handle this year’s Worlds 2022 tournament and the Prestige K’Sante skin.

In just a few days, the most important event in League of Legends, the World Championships 2022, will begin. 24 best teams from around the world will compete for the cup and eternal fame.
Until now it was not known who would perform the anthem representing the tournament, although the players had their theories. Some of them turned out to be true and the task was assigned to Grammy award-winning rapper and singer Lil Nas X.
He will perform a song called “STAR WALKIN” on September 23 just before the start of Worlds 2022. Here is what the rapper himself said about his new activity with Riot:
I felt like it was time for me to try something new,” Lil Nas X said. “I’ve left my mark on pop culture in so many ways, and now it’s time to take on the world of gaming. I will be the greatest president of League of Legends, of all time. Also I’m going to make the best Worlds anthem of all time and put on the biggest, coolest, sexiest Worlds in the history of all Worlds!
That’s not all yet. Together with artists from Riot, he will design a Prestige Edition skin for a new tanky hero straight from Shurima, K’Sante – Pride of Nazumah. It is also already known what it will be called.
The first skin the new champion will get is Prestige Empyrean K’Sante. It is likely that the basic version of it and the character itself will come out along with each other, while this one is scheduled for November 13. Unfortunately, it will not be available for in-game currency, but through 2000 tokens that can be collected during the event.
