“Playing LoL for 10 years and only with a locked screen” How to take your first steps with an unlocked camera?

A locked screen is a problem for many players, but it is easy to learn the habit.
A large number of players, especially from the lower divisions, have problems with moving around the screen with an unlocked camera. It is hardly surprising as it may seem like a difficult task. Especially in team fights where a lot is going on.
A Reddit user shared a story about a friend who has been playing League of Legends for 10 years and always uses only a locked screen. He found it incredibly funny, and his friend makes it difficult for himself to play. So how can you easily learn to unlock it?
Locked screen problem
While it can be said that most League of Legends players plays with an unlocked screen, there are people who still can’t. This is not a bad thing, but it is worth knowing that it makes the game very difficult due to a poor understanding of the map. Such a story was presented by a Reddit user with the nickname EsophagusPounder and it quickly collected over 2,000 positive votes.
This case is much worse than the others. The player completely does not use F1-4 shortcuts and does not click on the minimap to see what is happening in a given area. There are, however, people who do it and return to the camera directed at the character, and this, as already established, makes the game difficult.
However, there are easy ways to start enjoying a larger field of view. First, you need to adjust the camera to the speed of the mouse. So that you can move it comfortably and you don’t have to wave the mouse too often. There is no need to overdo it, as too much “tweaking” the sliders will simply cause the screen to move quickly.
The next step is to slowly get used to it. You should cancel the permanent locking of the camera (Y by default). If you block it automatically, you can even completely unbind this key.
This does not mean that you should play constantly on an unlocked screen. Oftentimes, not even professional players do. They use the SPACEBAR to temporarily block the camera. At first, the button may be overused, but after a few practice matches, this should change. Just remember to try to move the screen as much as possible with the mouse.
