A leak has appeared that is related to the skin series, which is expected to return later in 2022.
The end of 2022 is slowly approaching. November will start in a few days, so there are only two months left until New Year’s Eve. Quite a few League of Legends fans are wondering what the developers have prepared for the winter.
Will it be the beloved by many Snowdown skins? Or maybe something related to Sugar Rush skins? There have been some leaks about what series is set to return, but it’s none of the aforementioned themes.
Which series will return to LoL at the end of 2022?
Big Bad Bear – a well-known leaker in the League of Legends community – has shared a leak with fans about the return of a certain skin series. It turns out that the theme is set to return later this year.
Several more updates are scheduled for this year. From the announcement, it seems that patch 12.22 will be related to the presentation of the skin series, and the event pass (patch 12.23) will be introduced right after it.

So which series is set to return, and what do the leaks say? It turns out that Cosmophase, or Space Groove, a theme that was first released in April 2021, will return at the end of 2022.
This may come as a surprise to some, since the series is more associated with April Fool’s Day, the occasion of which it appeared in League of Legends.
Big Bad Bear stated that it is very likely that the new part of the Space Groove skins will appear along with the legendary and prestige versions. Unfortunately, it is not known which characters they might go to.
The leaker also mentioned rumors that involve an event related to the Dreadnova theme or an event with Coven skins. According to Big Bad Bear, the Coven will return, but it is more likely to happen as early as 2023.
It is worth mentioning that both the Space Groove and Coven series appeared in the game relatively recently (because in 2021). Fans have been waiting the longest for the return of the Dreadnova theme, as it has been several years since the release of a skin from this universe (2017).
