LoL players are once again angry with Riot. This time the SG tokens were taken earlier than announced

The Star Guardian event will go down in history… as one of the most disliked. And yet, another problem arose soon after.
Various interesting events have appeared in League of Legends for several years. Some are worse, like Ruin, and some are definitely better, like Spirit Blossom. Now, however, Riot has definitely gone overboard.
The Star Guardian event that just ended is sure to go down in history. Not as the best, not as the worst, but as the most buggy. It spoiled the most nerves of the players. Now it turns out that they also lost their tokens.
Players lose tokens
Bugged missions, no tokens granted, no rewards. These are just a few of the terms often used in describing the Star Guardian event. The icing on this cake made of mud is the latest situation ending this project. It turns out that many players lost several dozen, several hundred or even over a thousand tokens. All this because they disappeared from the account earlier than announced.
There have been many posts on social media from frustrated gamers. They complain that after returning home, they decided to buy the rewards, but the tokens were not there anymore and they should be in their “wallet” for a few more hours.
In addition, there is also the strange logic of Riot. They decided to take the tokens from the players on the same day as the event ended. Usually, players can wait a few more weeks before the tokens are lost. This time, due to the extension of the event, things turned out differently, and many people lost what they had been working on for over a month.
Additionally, there were allegations of insufficient communication with players. Riot, instead of informing everyone in the client about changes to the action plan, does so on their social media profiles. However, they are not followed by everyone. Perhaps during the next event, these mistakes will not be repeated, but probably fewer people will decide to buy a pass.
