LoL patch 12.10. Riot buffs all characters instead of nerfs. “It’s gonna be fun, but we’ll balance it later”

Ultimately, what are the changes planned for patch 12.10 to increase survivability?

The LoL community has long been paying attention to too much damage in the game. Riot wants to remedy this by giving each champion additional health, armor, and magic resist that increases with each level. In addition, many mechanics related to healing and shields will be weakened. The changes have been able to be tested by players on PBE servers for some time, and the initial observations of fans show that the huge amount of characters will require additional attention.

Update 12.10, despite its inconspicuous size, is set to be one of the largest that League of Legends has ever received outside of preseason. It turns out that it will not be introduced in one part, and will be divided into at least two. Therefore, there will be a lot of chaos for at least one day.

Characters will be balanced later

This Wednesday, May 25, patch 12.10 in a shortened version will hit the official servers. All this is due to the withdrawal of developers from a huge number of changes. First, it was planned to nerf 80 characters, 33 items, 10 runes, and 4 summoner spells, you can read more about it in this article <CLICK>. Ultimately, the debuffs will only affect shields, healing, grievous wounds, armor penetration, turrets, and Baron Nashor. Additionally, each character will receive a stamina buff.

The Rioter quickly explained why this decision was made. It turns out that it will be easier to balance and catch champions that are too strong or weak. This means that Riot is intentionally trying to bring chaos to League of Legends.

It will probably not end with one patch, because the test of new changes and their proper tuning may take up to several weeks. The same employee also decided that it would be a great time for players to check out new builds and have fun.

Will players, as announced by Riot Phlox, have fun? We will find out about it soon, in just over a week. Some, however, have already announced that they will not play ranked for several days.
