The constantly recurring notifications slowly irritate LoL players. Will Riot fix it?
Typically, when a new feature appears in the League of Legends client, players receive a notification. Usually, it appears in the center of the screen and needs to be skipped or shows up close to a new window.
Although they disappear when closed, this moment often doesn’t last long. All you need to do is reset the client for them to reappear and you have to click through them again. Such an action, repeated for many years, has already started to irritate the community.

The League’s client often doesn’t work very well and probably every player knows it perfectly well. Various errors appear, it can close at a crucial moment or simply lag. Therefore, players have not complained about such trivialities as constantly displayed notifications so far. They may have been quietly hoping for a few years that Riot would fix it, but they didn’t. In the comments, a reply appeared that this feature was not planned for this patch and will only be available in the next update. However, rather, the community cannot count on it. The option to turn off esports notifications is also not fully functional. Even after checking that you do not want to receive such information, it still appears and confuses players.
For many years, from time to time, there are posts about situations with not showing up notifications, constantly showing a window about the received gift or lack of it. Riot didn’t do anything about it. Interestingly, this feature sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t, and it really depends on the day.
