A new event is coming to League of Legends soon. The theme is reminiscent of Star Wars.
One of the people responsible for confirmed leaks from League of Legends did some research on the files on the test server and found some information about the new event. It is called Steel Valkyries and has a Star Wars theme.
Skins and characters well known to players, such as Renata Glasc, Miss Fortune or Kai’Sa, will take part in the fight for freedom. The bad thugs will be played by Dreadnova Darius and Gangplank.

There are also some interesting lines of code on the test server that describe the stories and some memories of the characters. Here, for example, Admiral Renata Glasc is giving orders to Commander Camille.
There were also announcements of several new skins. Again, news from the great Admiral Renata.
Probably, according to the player’s theory, the combat codenames refer to these characters:
- Principality – Irelia
- Orion – Leona / Pantheon / Varus
- Anubis – Nasus
- Zephyr – Janna
However, this information is only speculation, so it cannot be taken seriously.
The above news may apply to Lux and Garen. Either it’s a preview of new skins, or we’re talking about the “Steel Legion” series here. Both were released in 2013, so they’re a bit outdated. However, this does not apply to Wild Rift. There, the characters look really good, and interestingly, they are in space on splash art.
At the moment, nothing more is known about the event. Several files are located on the test server and that’s about it. For now, players have to wait and enjoy the currently ongoing Star Guardian event.
