Janna with smite has already been played in a professional tournament in LoL. How did she do?

Janna with smite was chosen by a professional player during the tournament.

The 2022 season’s start has not been good, there is chaos in League of Legends that will be difficult for developers to tame. Players are complaining about too much damage that was promised to be reduced, and now Janna is on top lane winning way too many games.

Although normally nothing happens at TOP, and there is a widespread belief that it is this line that contributes the least to the match result, something unheard of has been happening there recently. Currently, the most winning character in the game is Janna with smite, ganking all lines from level 3 onwards. Now played by pros at tournaments.

Janna played on a professional stage

A few days ago we wrote about Janna who became a real phenomenon. Not only is this character not made for this role, but people are also using smite with her. All this makes it difficult for opponents to play against her. It annoys and makes games chaotic.

Now there has been a situation where she is picked on the top lane in most matches in the top divisions and wins 60% of them. Therefore, players are forced to either ban or pick her. Likewise, Lulu is gaining popularity and uses the same tactics.

Janna, however, took it a step further. Yesterday she was chosen by a professional not on the ranked game, but during a professional Spanish LVP tournament. She was picked by Dreedy from Barça in the Giants vs Barça game.

As expected, the game ended with Janna’s team winning in 32 minutes. She dominated the game, not only making the life of the opposite jungler difficult but also feeding Kayn with her top lane farm. She did not give her rivals a chance to approach also in the fights with Baron and Drake.

Will Riot do something with her? Certainly yes, but the developers are facing a really difficult task right now. They have to nerf the heroine on the top lane and leave her in normal condition on support at the same time. Perhaps the changes will affect smite since players are choosing it eagerly.
