“Changes haven’t ruined ARAMs.” Players say why the community should be more gracious

Were the changes to the Howling Abyss map needed? What does the League of Legends community think about it?
As most LoL fans probably know, Riot decided to revamp the second most popular map in the game – Howling Abyss. ARAMs, which are right next to normals or rankeds, are of great interest to many people. There are even players who don’t play anything else except this one mode.
Anyone who hasn’t yet heard about the changes and doesn’t know what it’s all about, for example, with the tumbling towers, can read all about it in a separate article – Big ARAM update – a description of all the new features coming to the game in the LoL preseason.
How did the community like the changes? Do players enjoy the update?
ARAMs update in LoL
One Reddit user brought up the topic of the Howling Abyss update. In it, the player explained why he believes that the refresh of the mode didn’t ruin it at all, and in fact further emphasized what’s best in it.
The update didn’t ruin ARAMS, you just forgot what the gamemode is all about. As someone with 3k+ ARAMS and not queuing a summoners rift game in 2 years. Im an avid aram enjoyer that loves the chaos and randomness of them. I feel it’s added a bit of refreshment to the game mode.
I can totally see how the portal can be an issue with causing games to never end, and I feel if they just reduced the exit another turret back it would make sieging not as hard. What I did like about it, was how often fights ensue, I feel a big issue before the Aram update was the tempo of some games. Personally I feel they just add another layer of chaos, which is what arams are all about.
I must say the tower falling definitely adds another layer to Arams that whether it be negative or positive in some eyes. I simply feel it is a nice addition to mix things up and open up some fun possibilities.
The player felt that since there are people who claim that due to changes in towers they have difficulty winning games, they probably don’t understand how the mode works. According to the author of the post, some games on ARAMs are just like that, and you have to accept the fact that you are oppressed by the opposing team.
The bushes are nice, that’s about the one thing I can 100% agree was a positive all around change.
It’s a for fun game mode, people are taking it far too seriously. Queue up with friends, enjoy Arams for what they are, an all random fight fest where every game is different and anything can happen!
I get it, we’re old and decrepit but if this update is what ruined Arams for you. Then you’ve been thinking about this game mode all wrong and you’ve forgotten what Arams are at the core. You will get out comped, you will have games where you feel useless, but you’ll also have games where you’re the one stomping.
The player stressed that he had no intention of attacking or insulting anyone. He just wanted to show that more chaos on Howling Abyss is a positive thing, and that’s what he meant all along.
Quite a few people supported the above post, making this one popular quite quickly. Of course, there was no shortage of people who disagree with him or those who have not had time to get used to the new changes.
