Fans of the show have a strange idea and ask Riot to add this character to the game.
The League of Legends animated series Arcane turned out to be a huge success. Today, Riot’s production enjoys a first place on the Netflix platform, and a few days ago, the creators could boast that Arcane was the most popular category on Twitch.
Fans from all over the world love the heroes of the series. On the screen you could see the fate of characters known from Summoner’s Rift, including Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, or Jayce. Of course, during the screening, the viewer got to know many more people, including the incredibly interesting and characteristic inhabitants of Zaun and Piltover.
Many people wondered if some characters could be transferred to the game. The proposals included heroes such as Mel and Silco, who play a significant role in the series. Quite a few fans said it would be a good idea to introduce Deckard, the blonde-haired boy who was already in the first episode, to Summoner’s Rift.
One of the players, however, came up with a completely different idea, which turned out to be a bull’s eye. The concept is controversial and absurd, but the statistics show that LoL fans would like to see such a strange and exaggerated character. Who is it about?
An unusual idea for a character
In the first episode of Arcane, a group of heroes wanders the streets of Zaun. The viewer can observe what life is like in the suburbs of Piltover. You can see many stalls around, and walking kids pass many dangerous strangers.
At one point, Vi and her friends walk by a certain place where quite distinctive characters are sitting. The scene is very short and the mentioned people don’t even say a word. Nevertheless, this moment was enough for one of them to become popular on the Internet. It’s about the older Yordle.
It didn’t take long for someone to come up with the idea of moving the lady presented above to Summoner’s Rift. It must be admitted that the protagonist’s design is greatly exaggerated, and thus – it is difficult to forget about it.
This unusual idea for a champion appeared on the artist’s account with the nickname Sheriff_kyon. The author tagged the Riot Games account and signed the post with the Arcane tag (which has been trending on Twitter for some time). The graphics quickly reached a wider audience and currently, on Twitter alone, it has almost 2,000 comments and over 14,000 likes.
The players commenting on the matter joked that Riot managed to design a character that, despite appearing on the screen for only a few seconds, became popular and recognizable. Even the Rioters joked about the concept, including RiotCindyr.
However, the hero from LoL does not only need an interesting appearance. What could the abovementioned old lady’s skills be like? It turns out that the ideas for skills also appeared and one of the commenters came up with them.
As you can see, players imagine that an older yordle could, among other things, poison opponents with toxic smoke. There was also a charm.
Even though the whole idea is absurd and made for a joke, it has to be admitted that the creativity of League of Legends fans knows no bounds, and a snippet of the series is enough to create something that will become famous on the Internet.
