The end of the Fortnite season is delayed. Epic has officially changed the end date

Epic has officially announced a new end date for the current Fortnite season.

Such situations probably haven’t happened lately, while Epic apparently needs a few extra days to catch up on all the details. There’s still plenty of time left until the end of the season, but the developers can already see that they won’t make it.

While the season was supposed to end in 37 days, Epic has extended it a bit. People in general are strongly surprised that it’s already more than halfway through the season.

When will the season end?

The current season is scheduled to end on Friday, June 9, 2023. There is still plenty of time, so the question is what happened? Perhaps some cooperation was added, or something internally went wrong? We won’t know, so one can only speculate.

The new date is not some amazing gamechanger, it simply changes the date by a few days. The original season was scheduled to end on June 2, 2023, so Epic has added a week to the previously announced date.
