Epic today decided to bring back one of the rarest picks that hasn’t been in the game since 2019.
This is one of those classic cases where a pickaxe normally comes out for up to a dozen or so days and then suddenly completely disappears. This pickaxe has been in the store a total of 19 times, most recently back in 2019.
At some point, Epic apparently decided that enough was enough. And so the pick never appeared again – until today.
Back after 1300 days
The pick had been considered very rare for a long time. It was the 8th rarest pick in all of Fortnite.
Some players will rejoice, others are already pissed off on social media. In general, the pick itself is not considered the most good-looking, so it is unlikely to be very popular anyway. Its only advantage was actually its rarity.
