Epic has disabled one of the emoticons in Fortnite due to a rather serious bug. Interestingly, however, this was done only in competitive modes.
Disabling cosmetic items or things like emoticons is not all that uncommon, although usually in such cases Epic decides to disable things in normal and competitive modes.
This time, apparently, it was deemed unnecessary to turn off emoticons in all modes in Fortnite. However, this is a controversial decision to the extent that the bug is really serious.
Disabling one of Fortnite’s emoticons
Epic today announced the forced disabling of one of the emoticons. Interestingly, this concerns a serious bug, and anyway, the developers decided that there was no need to disable it in these normal modes.
What is the reason for this? The point here is that the emoticon allowed you to be invisible. A classic that many people already know.
So don’t be surprised if you see weapons flying in the air. This will be directly related to this bug, which will probably be globally fixed in the next update.
