There are some weird bugs in Fortnite from time to time, and this is probably one of them.
Theoretically, solving this puzzle is relatively simple, it is practically difficult to say what really happened here. One of the players logged into Fortnite on his Xbox after 11 months.
As a result, he got 11,000 V-Bucks from the Crew. Solution? He did not resign from it, so he got V-Bucks every month. And it would have been if not for the fact that he received the same V-Bucks all the time on a PC. This means that for some reason he got an extra 11,000.
A strange situation in Fortnite
Let’s summarize what happened:
- The player normally plays on the PC.
- He also had an Xbox account.
- He bought Crew on Xbox, redeemed it on PC.
- Hasn’t logged in on Xbox for 11 months.
- He entered the game and even though he was collecting 1,000 V-Bucks every month on PC, Epic awarded him another 11,000 for each month.
A discussion quickly ensued on Reddit where the community simply assumed that the player had not unsubscribed. And it would be correct, if not for the fact that he received V-Bucks on PC every month.
Probably there was a mistake here, which in a moment will be described on small YouTube channels as “11,000 V-Bucks for everyone”, but this is an exceptional situation and everyone is aware of it.
Even aside from the fact that the player received an exclusive item pack, it could have something to do with STW or something that happened somewhere along the way.
On the other hand, the information that is displayed directly says that 11,000 is a reward from the Fortnite Crew and not some compensation.
