Twitter adds a dislike button, but there’s an important catch. Not everyone will see it

Entertaining

The well-known social networking site adds a small but significant change. Dislike button.

Twitter was founded in 2006 and has since gained immense popularity in the world. It was also associated with the development of the site, which over time began to receive more and more functions, thanks to which it became a really huge tool. Today, the service is used by celebrities, politicians, and, of course, ordinary society. Now the website has added a feature that allows you to react to comments that we don’t like. There is, however, a catch.

For now, downvoting only works on replies, not the original Tweets

On October 12, a certain number of selected users were given the opportunity to respond to tweets they do not like. This option has been reserved by the website authorities with the message that:

For now, Twitter allows you to test downvotes on replies, and not on the original Tweets, although it will probably change over time. It is worth remembering that at the moment the function is in the testing phase, so it is not known whether it will actually settle in the website permanently.

A large proportion of the community is criticizing the entire change as there are concerns that Twitter will turn into Reddit. Either way, it all depends on the next few weeks.
