There are many different ways to welcome new subs. This one is definitely one of the more original.
Virtually every major streamer has or has had some sort of unusual, special greeting to new subscribers. While this used to be even more popular, today it is increasingly limited to a greeting.
Included in all this is Sweet Anita, a very positive streamer who suffers from Tourette Syndrome. It rather doesn’t stop her from streaming, she herself laughs at some of the things she says. No one on her broadcasts doesn’t really care about this, and so does Twitch.
The effects sometimes vary
Sweet Anita in her relationship with Tourette sometimes says quite harsh things, of course not deliberately. Recently she welcomed her new sub in a certain way. Normally you could get a ban for this, but in this case, of course, there is no question about it.
The streamer herself found it quite funny and posted it on TikTok, where it went quite viral. Most know about her illness, so the whole thing has a positive reception.
“s-word” in such a context can be the reason for a ban, but Twitch knows about the whole situation, so no consequences were drawn from it. Besides, Anita has said much worse things in the past.
