The biggest Twitch records that will be hard to beat. Longest stream, most subscriptions, and more
Records on the Twitch.tv platform, which will be extremely difficult to break.
Twitch streamers often come up with new challenges to keep their viewers entertained. In addition, some of them organize events such as transmissions expanded through subscriptions and donations. These often don’t stop after a few days and last up to months.
During the 10 years of operation of this popular platform, several interesting records have been broken. Who was streaming the longest and who managed to get the most subs?
The biggest number of subscribers
In addition to checking the number of followers and the average number of people on a stream, the popularity of a given creator can also be measured based on the number of subscriptions the channel has.
The world record holder is Ludwig. In April 2021, 283,066 subscriptions were active on his channel at once. Assuming that each sub costs EUR 4, you can easily calculate that its viewers spent a total of EUR 1,132,264. Right behind him is Ninja and well behind two other developers.

The longest stream
A popular challenge is the so-called “subathon”. Through donations and subscriptions, viewers can extend the broadcast at the rate specified by the streamer. For example, 1 sub extends the stream by 5 minutes. It often happens that for several days or even months, the creator sleeps, eats, and plays in front of the people watching him.
The record holder in this respect is currently emilycc, whose struggle has already lasted 164 days and nothing suggests that they will end soon. Other streamers also have interesting results:

The longest stream
The live streams in the chart above may seem long, but that’s nothing compared to how long the longest lasted without any special occasion. The record originally belonged to Los Pollos TV and was broken in April 2020. The creator streamed 161 hours non-stop. Later, he was beaten by a streamer with the nickname CallMeCrypher, who broadcast continuously for 200 hours, and then due to technical problems the challenge had to end.
A lot has changed since then, and the absolute and practically unbeatable record holder is GPHustla. He has been live for over a year. He managed to transmit 465 days continuously. He beats everyone when it comes to a solo broadcast without much involvement from other creators.
Will the record be broken? There is a chance for this as the platform is still evolving. The challenge, however, is extremely difficult and requires many sacrifices, for which the vast majority of streamers are not ready.
