Starbucks customers were quite surprised yesterday to see specific cards on the doors of the café. The idea here is to counteract the recently popular habit that people used for beverages.
The practice of taking these refreshing drinks without adding water or ice has become very popular.
There will be an additional fee for this
It’s hard to say whether it will be the same all over the world, but there is a chance. Without ice, it can still be understood, but without water, it gives the feeling of drinking syrup alone – some like it, others not necessarily.
However, since the chain is responding, it is apparently a new trend. Starting May 9, you will have to pay extra to place such an order.
There is no information about other locations than the US, but it is known that sooner or later the rules there will reach Europe as well.
