Elon Musk announced the deletion of Twitter accounts. How to protect yourself from this?

Inactive accounts are to disappear from Twitter. Elon Musk has announced the changes.

Twitter has about 400 million users from around the world. Like any such platform, it struggles with the problems of inactive accounts. As if that wasn’t enough, just recently we wrote about how Twitter Blue is turning out to be a flop, as more and more people are unsubscribing altogether.

Now Elon Musk has announced changes and warned creators that their number of followers may change. This is especially true of creators who have been active on Twitter for a good few years.

Twitter against inactive accounts

Bots and troll accounts are not the only the problem of social media platforms. The longer they run, the higher the percentage of accounts that no one has ever logged into again grows on them. While this seems like a small problem, it is not so for new users.

The old accounts had a greater number of available nicknames and were probably happy to occupy them. If they are not active now, such a nickname is simply wasted. In addition, it can be a hindrance to advertisers, who, looking at the number of followers, may have the impression that a given influencer has a larger number of fans than they do in reality.
