The return of players to Cyberpunk 2077 is clearly visible on Steam. The highest result in over a year

The chances that Cyberpunk 2077 will break its “all-time peak” of 830,000 people at once is slim. But it’s better after the new patch.
Many people wondered how update 1.5 will affect the popularity of Cyberpunk and whether there will be any “news” in terms of the number of active players. Today we already know that the patch made an impact.
Many people returned to Cyberpunk, although January was not very colorful. Then about 13% of people (from Steam) stopped playing compared to December. Now, however, the CDPR has reasons to be pleased.
The highest result almost from the premiere
Steam showed that 59,000 people played Cyberpunk yesterday. It is also the highest result since January 2021 (i.e. the second month after the premiere).
It is not bad, although it is probably not the ceiling that can be achieved after the premiere. You can guess that the release of full-fledged extensions will bring even more people to Cyberpunk.
The CDPR production is still on the Steam bestseller list and it will not change for a long time. The community’s expectations have paid off, and today, virtually all the time, players find elements that CDPR has improved in some way. Of course, not everything has been taken care of, but it is known that more updates are on the way.
