Support for Cyberpunk 2077 is dying out. Now The Witcher 4 becomes the most important
It is clear from CDPR’s announcements that support for the basic version of Cyberpunk 2077 is going away.
This is neither strange nor surprising. CDPR’s basic version is losing its relevance, and there’s not much to do there anymore. So the developers are shifting their processing forces to two things yet to come.
The first is an expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, which according to unofficial information is around the corner. In addition, more and more people are working on the “Polaris” project, commonly known as The Witcher 4.
The Witcher 4 with a growing team
There’s actually nothing surprising about CDPR’s current distribution of forces. It’s shifting them toward The Witcher 4. After the release of Phantom Liberty, the DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, probably even more people will move on to the Polaris project.
There is still a really long time until the release of The Witcher 4, but of course, you can slowly get ready for it. The topic is getting more and more interesting, probably with each month CDPR will release more and more information. The web also shows a growing interest in the next Witcher, so with some time it will do the same as with GTA 6, that is, a mass of rumors, conjecture, speculation, and suspicion.
