The expansion that all Cyberpunk 2077 players are waiting for, unfortunately, will not be released in 2022.
So many announcements, so many smaller and bigger leaks only to finally reveal that the DLC, or rather a full-fledged expansion, will not appear in 2022. Unfortunately, these are not rumors or unconfirmed information.
CDPR itself announced that the addition should not be expected until 2023. Cyberpunk 2077 will continue to play a very important role in the studio, it is still being worked on, but not as mush as it has been so far.
A DLC for Cyberpunk only in 2023
Information about the DLC is the main news of yesterday. It was to be expected, but nevertheless, everyone was counting on CDPR to make it. Well, unfortunately, that’s not the case.
What is worrying, however, is the number of employees delegated to work on Cyberpunk 2077. You can clearly see how CDPR is slowly cutting off work on its latest production.
What does it mean? Cyberpunk 2077 is slowly losing support, at least in terms of new features. The biggest bugs were fixed, the mechanics were taken care of, and now the work will probably focus strictly on the DLC.
