Cyberpunk 2077 players are as excited as they are concerned. What has changed?

More and more discussions are emerging among the Cyberpunk 2077 community regarding the future of not only 2077, but also the second part.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been several nice years in the making, and now CDPR has announced a slew of projects, which has caused mixed feelings. On the one hand, everyone naturally rejoices, finally, there is the confidence that the studio will not settle at the current level.

On the other hand, gamers are concerned that, however, Cyberpunk 2077 was 8 years in the making and yet came out quite buggy. No one needs to be reminded what the launch and the first few weeks after it looked like. That’s why such a picture has become popular:

Why should it be better?

CDPR has changed its approach, which gives hope that things will get better in the future, though. This was summed up well by one Reddit user, who wrote that the studio:

  • Increased the number of employees.
  • The use of Red Engine was given up on, instead, new games will already be developed on Unreal Engine 5 (this may be the key to all this).
  • New studios have been opened, including in America (Boston) – some of the team, headed by Pawel Sasko, has been moved there.
  • Studios have been bought to help.

It seems that CDPR will now do everything to avoid repeating the blunder that was the release of Cyberpunk 2077 and the mass of problems that plagued the production for months.
