CD Projekt Red representatives published a special statement on their social media in which they inform about the withdrawal of Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher, and all their other productions from the Belarusian and Russian markets. This decision was made, of course, due to the Russian military invasion of Ukraine.

As you can read in the statement – this decision has been made until further notice, so it is unlikely to change in the coming weeks or maybe even months. The studio itself is involved in the situation that is taking place in Ukraine, as it has donated PLN 1 million (about $ 220,000) to help the country.
This has very specific effects. At this point, both The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 are receiving a very large amount of negative ratings on Steam.
You can guess that the vast majority comes strictly from the Russians, who are very dissatisfied with the imposed restrictions.
