Cyberpunk 2077 from a third person perspective looks weirder than you might think
Players have created a modification that moves the camera behind the character’s back. It looks really weird.
The basic view in Cyberpunk 2077 is, of course, the one from the first-person perspective. Gamers have been saying for a while that it would be nice to have the option to switch to a third-person view.
Why? Probably just for variety and a slightly different experience. The problem is that after many months of playing in a certain way, the change of view is incredibly unnatural – but maybe it’s also the place where the camera is located.

One of the Reddit users took on the perspective of reworking the perspective. “nopalskucing” showed what it could look like.
In theory, everything is fine, in practice… it was difficult to play that way. As commented by the community, there is some potential in this, but it seems that the placement of the camera and its excessive static make Cyberpunk completely lose its vibe.
It would be incredibly time-consuming to create a view that would satisfy everyone, and it’s not hard to see why this version is so… weird.
