Either a new update is being prepared or Valve is planning to change the current CS: GO logo.
There is clearly something going on. Valve is registering a trademark that is slated to be available for use in June. This could mean several things, and players suspect it could be a harbinger of big news to come.
Initially, it was suspected that Valve would announce something after the Major, but it didn’t happen. So there is a chance that it is not about esports, but something strictly related to the game.
Valve registers a trademark
This is quite a nuisance, because the logo looks exactly like it does now. Valve didn’t do this for no reason, however.
There is one date in all of this – June 21. So it’s possible we’ll hear more about it in the next month. For now, all this is limited to announcements on various profiles of players and people associated with CS: GO.
