Yesterday we wrote about a bug with smoke – Valve fixed it in 24 hours. A new update was released overnight.

Yesterday, it was loud online about the error that allowed you to shoot through the smoke. It was used in one of the pro matches, and there was no chance that Valve would not see it. So a new update has been rolled out tonight.

The patch is not big, in fact 99% of players won’t notice the difference at all. It is strictly a fix for this one bug only. Nothing else has been changed.

For sure, Valve has gained a lot in the eyes of players who even started to hope that something might eventually move when it comes to fixing bugs, glitches, and exploits.

However, it is difficult to say whether this will actually happen. Surely this is the second time in a few days that Valve actually fixes something at such a rapid pace.
