Russian esports organizations have been forced to rename and get rid of their distinctive signs.


Virtus.pro was very vocal in opposing the restriction of Russian esports organizations. Finally, the CS: GO team was admitted to the tournament, but still had to change its name and logo.

The logo directly relates to the whole situation and evokes a lot of emotions. Other players comment that for the very fact that Virtus.pro used this reference, it should be excluded from any esports games.

The new logo is an old logotype with a crossed circle added – it refers to the general blockade of Russian teams.

Should it be like this? There are many opinions on this topic. Some believe that there is no problem with this, others want a complete ban on Virtus.pro and other organizations, such as Gambit. It is worth mentioning that this organization also had to change its logo:

The new name of Virtus.pro is “Outsiders”. Gambit, on the other hand, has been renamed to “Players”.
