How many people got into the Counter-Strike 2 beta? That’s not even 1% of all CSGO players

Although it’s a small sample, it’s the largest we’ve found so far.

At the moment, very few people have access to the Counter-Strike 2 beta. It was mainly given to streamers, YouTubers, and influencers of all kinds. A separate group is also professional players who are testing all the new features.

One YouTuber shared information about how many of his nearly 1.4 thousand friends got into the beta. The implication is that this is not even 1% of all the players known to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

How many people got into the beta?

According to unofficial estimates, we are talking about 0.72%. Out of 1392 people, only 29 got into the beta. Of these 29, as many as 19 are either streamers, professionals, or influencers.

Except that, naturally, some simply let the game go. Of those nearly 1,400, as many as 190 have not played in the last 2 months, which could have made quite a difference to Valve. So it’s impossible to say definitively how many people are playing CS2 at this point.

Twitch has already decided to make the CS2 category on Twitch to show interest in a better way, and so the average number of viewers in the last week was about 47 thousand. However, the category is very fresh and this number will steadily decrease.
