The last time the title had a seven-digit number of players was in May 2021. For some, this achievement may seem like a coincidence, as there is currently no operation or more important event in the game. In fact, however, the game has consistently scored above 900,000 in recent weeks.
This record is very significant for FPS, as its popularity has declined after last year’s update when it became necessary to have a Prime status to play ranked games. It seems the community is slowly making a comeback and the statement that “CS is dying” is becoming untrue again.
