Last week was very good for Valve’s production, making it to TOP3 of Twitch.

Major is always a good time for CS: GO, but this time the viewership is really high. It’s been a long time since Valve’s production would chase League of Legends on Twitch. And before LoL there are only “Conversations”.

In the last 7 days, the viewership of CS: GO increased by 53%. Something like this happens extremely rarely, even with active drops. This means that CS is currently in Twitch’s TOP 3.

Does the number of viewers translate into the number of players? Not completely. According to Steam, the last 30 days were one of the weakest in several months. But that doesn’t mean anything, because the month is not over yet.

CS: GO has always had these moments. During the pandemic, the overall performance of CS and other games was much better, now everything is just normalizing.
