This is what Inferno from CSGO would look like if Valve switched to Epic’s Unreal Engine

Remaking maps from CS: GO on other engines is nothing new, but it can still surprise.

Unreal Engine very often accompanied CS: GO players, who used it to show what Valve’s production on Source 2 could look like. Of course, these are completely different engines, graphic models, and style.

But it’s actually some kind of hint, or just a presentation of what CS: GO might look like if Valve decided to make a deal with Epic – the owner of the Unreal Engine.

Inferno recreated on UE4

Nick Kohary recreated Inferno at UE4 a few months ago. Now he has published his project in the form of a video – the whole thing looks really interesting, but it is so different that it is difficult to find the spirit of CS: GO here.

CS has its own unique style that is difficult to imitate. But that was not the point here. This is a presentation of the possibilities, a slightly different look at Counter Strike and the location.

Video

The possibilities are huge, but Valve is unlikely to go in that direction, although it certainly could. Here, it looks more like an adventure game, where it is one of the many locations we will go through and forget about 2 minutes after leaving them.
