After 4 years of removing this from CSGO, still no one knows why Valve did so. But a lot of people miss it
Many different elements have been removed from CS: GO over the past few years, which may not have changed the game amazingly, but were a nice addition.
Valve was slowly getting rid of everything that the developers thought was unnecessary from CS: GO. At the moment when Epic in Fortnite, Riot in Valorant, or Respawn in Apex add new features, Valve cuts everything out from CS: GO.
Especially a lot of things were removed in 2018 with the interface update. Panorama caused the players, for example, to lose the contract signing animation. Why? It is not known.
And people miss it
This topic was posted on Reddit by a user with the nickname “Ratchet601”, who asked why it was removed. A question with no answer. Valve concluded overnight that it wasn’t worth leaving in the game, and it was removed.
Of course, you can guess that it was strictly about hardware limitations, or just getting rid of unnecessary add-ons, according to the developers, that did not contribute to the experience. However, many people comment that they would like it to come back.
Some people laugh that Valve, as a small company, failed to leave the animation because it required too much effort.
