What will the new command interface in The Sims 4 look like? There will be some pretty big changes.
The command interface in The Sims 4 known as the “pie menu” primarily helps in selecting activities and interactions for our Sims during gameplay. The developers have been saying for some time that the current design is outdated and needs to be addressed.
As the latest update to the basic version of the game is coming soon, and a revamp of the command interface has been announced for this update, it’s worth taking a closer look at it.

Although the developers have been talking about it for quite some time, it was only some time ago that they decided to introduce Simmers to the new, reorganized look of the command interface. It’s worth recalling that the current command interface, according to the creators, was supposed to be “intelligent” and suggest on its own the best options and interactions when two or more Sims are talking.
Some time ago SimGuruNinja decided to bring players closer to the redesigned interface by inserting it on his media.
What’s more, during a recent streaming, during which the staff showed gameplay of the latest addition to The Sims 4 – Growing Together, SimGuruNova provided some valuable information about the changes the developers have made to the new version of the command interface.
Each of the new categories maps to one of the Likes & Dislikes for Conversation Topics. The important interactions like Divorce, Breakup etc. are left uncategorized – so it’s a little easier for you to find.
For example – Become Best Friends is left uncategorized. We don’t want a Sim to decline that because it’s in the category they dislike. We also want to make sure it’s easy for you to find!
The update should appear soon. It has been scheduled for March 14, 2023.
