The developers have finally released official information on the upcoming add-on for The Sims 4 starring horses.
You can finally breathe a sigh of relief, as all the leaks and information have finally been confirmed. Although the official concept graphics and cover art for the new add-on came out a few days ago, it’s only today that we have the official trailer and information straight from the developers – well, it couldn’t be more official.
Players got a 2-minute trailer that introduces a brand new Wild West-inspired world, its atmosphere, and culture, as well as a description of the gameplay and all the new features that will come with The Sims 4 Horse Ranch.

It couldn’t be any more official. We already have a gameplay trailer that shows all the new features to come to the game with a brand new add-on.
In addition, a description of the add-on has also appeared on the official website of The Sims 4. With this, we can learn some of the most important information about the upcoming expansion, namely:
- Horses, miniature goats, and sheep are a brand new type of animal in The Sims 4, which will be able to be bred and cared for.
- Chestnut Ridge is a new world inspired by the Wild West.
- Working on the ranch as a new type of activity. Cleaning the animals’ beds and cleaning their environment, collecting grass for the feedlot.
- It will be possible to hire a rancher to help on the ranch.
- Sims will be able to produce homemade nectar by crushing fruits or potatoes, each with its own unique action.
- Milking goats and selling the milk as a new way to earn money.
- Sims will be able to participate in ranch rallies with dances and cooking contests.
- Animal Day is a new holiday.
- Horses can be created in Sim Creation Mode by rescuing them from the street, breeding them, or buying them. You will be able to change the shape of the head, advice, mane, tail coat, body weight, coat length, and more.
- The horses’ skills are temperament, agility, jumping, and endurance.
- Sims will be able to roam around the world on horses.
- New Appaloosa will be a trail where Sims will be able to travel on horseback.
- Dreadhorse Caverns are new rabbit burrows that can be explored.
