Who says building in the Sims can’t be taught from an early age?
Despite the fact that The Sims 4 is among the games that have age restrictions imposed due to the scenes depicted in it, such as violence and sexuality, many young people are already familiar with the Sims world well before the proper age of 12.
This is often due to parents who have been devoted fans of the series for many years, or siblings or schoolmates. After all, The Sims 4 is an incredibly popular game around the world, and it’s hard to find people who haven’t heard of it at least once.
There are also many Sims players in the community who love to teach gaming to their parents, grandparents, or relatives who have never been exposed to any games of this type before. Usually, such people try to create their own Sims or build a house – often unskillfully.
Recently there was a post on the Internet in which a Simmer showed off this type of construction designed by her 3-year-old daughter. How did she do?
A 3-year-old child and building in The Sims 4?
There are a mass of videos on the web whether on TikTok or Youtube and other such platforms, where people learn how to play the Sims right alongside someone experienced in it. Usually these are videos made specifically for a joke so that others can laugh or reminisce about the time when they were the ones who first reached for this title.
Recently, there was also an interesting post on Reddit by one mom who is a fan of The Sims 4. She posted some pictures from her game, in which you can see a rather strange house – very colorful, nothing matches, it looks as if someone built it without colors on the monitor. It turns out that it was Simmer’s 3-year-old daughter who helped decorate the building.
It is really colorful. Although to most the house seems really overdone and crazy, many people appreciated the fact that the girl is not afraid of colors and does what she likes best. Some also noted that the “adult” designs are very boring and close only to neutral colors.
This is a very pertinent observation, which is why it’s good to have such a bauble occasionally to help us decorate our homes – and not just the Sim ones.
